Serving Your ONES

One of the ways we can collectively show our love to people we are spiritually influencing: serving them. Engaging our ONES by serving them together is a powerful witness not only of our care for them but also of our love and devotion to one another.

Vacation Care

Routine home care can be a pain to cover when someone goes out of town on any kind of trip. When you know your ONE will be out of town, offer your group to do things like get their mail, mow their yard, take care of their pets, set their trash out, etc. These small tasks can communicate care and love in simple ways.

A meal train is a crowdsourced way to care for someone in a time of need. Whether someone just experienced a birth or death in the family, a surgery, an illness, or is simply going through a rough time, the meal train tool above allows someone to organize a series of meals to be cooked and delivered by a group of people (your Venture Group is the perfect size).

Home Projects

Never let your ONE do home improvement project alone. From painting, to fixing leaks, to laying flooring, to winterizing your house and doing spring garden maintenance, each unskilled or semi-skilled job is an opportunity to serve and tighten friendship bonds over shared labor. Consider offering your ONE to borrow your tools whenever needed (then you'll also know when they're starting a new project).

Babysitting

Whether your ONES need help taking care of children, grandchildren, foster care placements, fur babies, or even aging relatives, everyone needs respite from their caretaking duties from time to time. Schedule your group to give the gift of rest and peace of mind through your service to your ONES in this way.
