VENTURE GROUPS
Playing With Your Group
Because every group has a different dynamic, it can be difficult to know what would be fun for everyone. The only fouls are not trying anything for fear of failure or being the group of curmudgeons that doesn't have any fun playing together.
Eat Together
Most Americans eat 3 meals a day and 21 meals a week- you might as well share that experience with others. There is something about eating together that breaks down barriers. Good conversation over a hearty meal and drinks has a way of bringing people together in a way that few other activities can.
Outdoor Play
In Hamilton County and the surrounding areas, we have access to some of the best parks and outdoor spaces in the country- all for free (or really cheap). There are an infinite number of possibilities to take advantage of these incredible resources, but a few ideas are linked above.
Game Night
There is nothing that screams "the joy of the Lord" like watching a great-grandmother beat someone (again) in Skip-bo or a 5-year-old who got 2nd place for the first time in Mario Kart. Games and (healthy) competition of all kinds can create laughter, memories, and bonds that will last a lifetime.
Sports
Being near a a major metropolitan area, there are a variety of opportunities to watch professional, semi-professional, and high-quality amateur sports together. From the comfort of your living room to the sights, sounds, and smells of the big stadiums, you can root for your favorite teams together.
