Learning Spiritual Rhythms

Below you will find a list of tools and recommended resources to help your group members learn about and start practicing spiritual rhythms more faithfully.

Rooted is a 10-week small-group discipleship experience where participants discover more about God, the Church, and their purpose by exploring the Bible, engaging in unique experiences, sharing stories, and practicing the rhythms of a life with Jesus.

All Christians have ideas they tell themselves about God and how he works in their lives. Some are true, but many are false. These thoughts determine not only the identity of Christians, but also how they live. In fact, the most important thing about a person is what they think about God. It’s oftentimes that we don’t know how to become like Jesus, so we need a pathway to formation for the modern era. To that end, Practicing the Way creates free resources to help your community be with Jesus, become like him, and do as he did.

Hailed by many as the best modern book written on Christian spirituality, Celebration of Discipline explores the classic "disciplines," or central spiritual practices, of the Christian faith. Dividing the Spiritual Disciplines into three movements of the spirit, Foster shows how each movement contributes to a balanced spiritual life.
