YouVersion (also known simply as The Bible App) contains most translations of the Bible for free on your smart device. Among the many tools available, YouVersion offers many electronic and audio versions of the Bible and reading plans for individuals and groups. The link above connects to a 20-day reading plan through the book of Luke created by The Bible Project.

The Bible Project creates free resources like videos, podcasts, articles, and classes to help people experience the Bible in a way that is approachable and transformative. Their goal is to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.

The S.O.A.P. method of Bible study is simple yet effective for processing the words in the Bible. The acronym stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer, and it is this easy order in which a group can break down any passage of scripture and glean a lot of significant meaning and subsequent next steps in obedience.

It can be difficult to pick a quality Bible translation. Sometimes they can be simply be too difficult or confusing to read. This article is a helpful place to find a translation that works well for you so you can read God's word for yourself.
